90’s Goth Veterans Children On Stun Return with Their Video for “Echoes”

After a long hiatus, 90s goth veterans Children On Stun return with their video for “Echoes”, the title track off of their new EP out this Friday.

Strongly associated with the second wave of Gothic Rock, Children On Stun were never a band to be pigeonholed by that label, as evident with their reputation for chaotic live performances, with their tongue archly tucked in cheek. In this, Children on Stun mixed alternative noise, post-punk, and dark pop, echoing the creative energies of their forebears The March Violets, whose song from which “Children On Stun” took their name.

Watch the video for “Echoes” below:

Originally signed to Cleopatra Records in the USA and M&A Musicart in Sweden, the band recorded several albums such as Tourniquets of Loves Desire, Overland, Mondo Weird during the 1990’s, gaining a cult following. Burned out and feeling hollow, the band called it quits in 1998 at Camden Underworld, London.

After being sidelined for 17 years Children On Stun played a sell-out show at the O2 Islington Academy 2, London in 2015 and shortly after announcing they would be reforming.

Now touring and recording the Stun are releasing a new 5 track EP Echoes on March 15th on Armalyte Industries.
